Community Guidelines
Last updated August 18, 2026
Community is a shared feed of meetups from other travelers and expats near you. A few rules keep it useful.
Be kind
Meetups are for meeting people in real life. Show up the way you'd want someone else to show up.
No spam, scams, or promotions
Personal events only. Anything selling a product, service, or paid program will be removed.
No harassment or hate
Discrimination, threats, or targeted harassment gets an immediate block and a report to Apple.
No sexual or adult content
Community is for public meetups. Anything of a sexual nature belongs elsewhere.
Reports reviewed within 24 hours
Every report goes to a human. Repeated violations get accounts banned from posting.
You can always block
Blocking hides everything a person posts — instantly, only on your device.
Reporting content
Every post has a Report action in its overflow menu. Reports include the content, the poster's identifier, your identifier, and a reason. We review them within 24 hours. Verified violations lead to content removal, temporary posting restrictions, or permanent posting bans depending on severity and history.
How these rules interact with the Terms of Service
These guidelines sit alongside our Terms of Service — anything covered there (age eligibility, subscriptions, account termination) applies here too. If you're not sure whether something is allowed, err on the side of "would this be welcome at a friend-of-a-friend dinner in real life?"
